SkyWatch Friday - Snow sunset

About a foot of snow fell in the Moody Mountains and I spent Tuesday evening getting stuck and unstuck, but the view was absolutely beautiful.  Here is the sky just as the snow storm was leaving.

And here is the sky after the clouds had cleared and the sun was setting over Rexburg.

A beautiful was to end another wild day in Idaho.

See other pictures of the sky at http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Sounds like fun, or at least well worth some shoveling to get the shots.

I do remember days like that, Bill.. and that is way we now reside in Florida. Beautiful scenery when it snows and you can play in it without getting stuck.

Hey, Bill, thanks for the lovely comments! We will get snow soon enough (in fact, we have already had our first snowstorm of the winter)! I think the first photo is so soft, and the sunset in the second, and last week, are so vibrant!
