SkyWatch Friday - Mud volleyball (wrestling).

This week is homecoming week at Madison High School in Rexburg.  I am still in charge of the homecoming activities - a job really don't enjoy, but try to do well.

Tuesday night was Mud Volleyball, but it usually is more wrestling than volleyball.  Here is one of my favorite pictures of the evening.

Then after cleaning up, I was leaving after all the kids were gone and the sun was setting, I was pleased to witness the setting sun.

After the sun set I captured this single strand of grass seeds creating this silhouette against the sun.

Just the end of another wild day in Idaho.

See other great sky pictures at http://skyley.blogspot.com/.

From wild and crazy, muddy fun to marvelous captures of gorgeous, colorful skies! That's getting it all in one day, Bill! Really love the last shot! Exquisite! Hope you have a fun weekend -- no mud, ok?

The clean kid looks a little nervous.

Love the sunset shots, especially with the lone grass seed head.

Kids (and adults) love playing in the mud. When I was a Youth Director in a church, we were on a trip --and one of the activities was some kind of a mud-wrestling game... They had fun --but we were digging mud out of their ears and fingernails, ETC. for days!!!! ha

Beautiful Idaho sunset..... WOW!!!

That sure was a wild and muddy Idaho day, Bill... but it ended with a gorgeous sunset to top it off.

I have fond memories of mud volleyball and mud football and mud fights as a youth. We seemed to do them every September as an opening social.

Bill, I patched the mud volleyball info on to one of my three daughters, she will get a kick out of it. Your sun image with the grass is really lovely. Have a very fun and safe weekend in Idaho~

The mud 'wrestling' shot is very good :o) Love the sunset shots. My hubby and his bro should be in Idaho now...they were at Old Faithful earlier...my BIL's first visit there, I'm very happy for him to be seeing Yellowstone, can't wait til they get back to SD and I get to hear about it.

Hi Bill. Those last two shots are stunning!

Not crazy about mud, but I bet the homecomers" had fun. (Everybody else in my family would have enjoyed it!)

Isn't a bit chilly for all that naked mud!?

Stunning final photo Bill.

Still in charge of homecoming? Now that is a task for the strong. I loved the really really white kid in contrast to all the muddy kids. His expression is almost fear, just like any minority probably can feel.
Your blog is a one of a kind. I think you must be too.
