The beginning of a magical day.
Snow Geese? How lucky you are!!I appreciated your photo of the lone sprig of grass. But, hoping spring has sprung in Idaho as it has tentatively in Minnesota.
The first picture was beautiful, so beautiful colors and nice views.
OH WOW, I LOVE YOUR SkyWatch entry!
Wow, I've never seen a shot of so many geese. I bet they do green up the marshes.
The sunset shot is gorgeous. I like that your focus is sharp on the grass, the muted golds and yellows are a lovely background.
Stunning sunset! Happy weekend!SWF~ Blue sky
I love the sunset with the grass waving in front. The mass of snow geese is fantastic.
more reasons to love Idaho!
Gorgeous sunset! The geese should mean spring very soon.
For you you it may have been a wild day, but for us it was a very interesting day for Sky Watch. I love the lone little twig blowing in the wind.
I love the simplicity of the single bending head of grass. My husband thinks your header photo with the sun and fog is very interesting.
What makes that first picture so great is that piece of grass... How terrific!!!!! Beautiful sunset...Like the geese also.Betsy
Two great shots, Bill. The first for its artistry and the second for its depiction of nature taking to wing.
Great SWF shot, I love the shallow focus and background colors. And I've never seen so many geese in my life!
Love the sunset and the ready to fly birds moments... amazing...

Fascinating post - the different directions of nature in the Spring.
I dont think I should have given up goose hunting and moved to Idaho instead.
Your photos are always so gorgeous - really makes me want to move to Idaho! :) Love the snow geese and that first photo is just beautiful. Love the post above this one too!
