SkyWatch Friday - Sunrise Sunset.

Sunrise - Just before the sun rises, the fog created by below zero temperatures are colored by the sun rays before the sun has risen behind the low east clouds.

The same day the sun colors the west sky as it sets below the western horizon as I watch for eagles to fly into the large cottonwoods to perch for the night..

Just the end of another wild day in Idaho at Camas National Wildlife Refuge. Check out other beautiful sky pictures at SkyWatch Friday.

Lovely skies, and I enjoyed yesterday's post, also. Now I need to find CNWR on a map!

Beautiful skywatching in your part of the world. If I could see the sky here I wouldn't have to go to my New Zealand archives but then that would deprive others of a glimps of summer down under.

Pretty impressive, also that you have access to an unobstructed view both to the east and the west. I have never seen bunches of eagles like the post below.

Thanks for stopping by today. We also have eagles in our area of Ontario. Stop by http://lakeeriedaily.blogspot.com/
She is my sister and has posted some pictures of our eagles. Dick and I haven't caught ours yet for photos. (Work full time yet you see!)
Dick wants me to tell you that he's always wanted to visit Yellowstone. One day we will!
