SkyWatch Friday - Happy New Year

Happy 2010 - May it be a very happy and joyous one for you and your families.

Snow is falling as I write this, so I will be late going fishing today. Only a couple of days before I am back in school trying to inspire kids beyond what they think they can do.

We did get a break in the gray skies earlier in the week and I stole this picture of the sunset as the sun was setting over the Henrys Fork of the Snake River near St. Anthony, Idaho.

Just the end of another wild day in Idaho. Happy New Year.

Bill: So great to see your Idaho sunset, we haven't seen the sun in a while here in Kent except through clouds. It is always nice to have you visit and I wish you and your family a great New Year.

Beautiful beautiful sunset! I've gotten a bit behind on my favorite reading over busy December, so had a good time catching up on your beautiful photos (your blog is hard to leave!). I particularly loved the chickadee photos -- my favorite perching bird!

Happy New Year to you and all of your lovely family. And glad your surgery didn't keep you indoors for too long.

I'm glad you caught the break in the clouds for this lovely photo. This time of year we must be vigilant to capture a hint of blue or a glimpse of the sun.
