Between snow storms this week, I was able to capture the setting sun west of the Menan Buttes near the South Fork of the Snake River.
Just another wild evening of color in Idaho.
See more beautiful SkyWatch Friday photos.
The beginning of a magical day.

Beautiful shot. I love the composition.
Evening sky on fire...
BEAUTIFUL!!! :)
I like the way you framed the sunset! Awesome!
You have squeezed the light just perfectly to intensify the coloura here, Bill. The bare branches add a sort of fragility to the overall scene. I love just those couple of leaves managing to hang on through all the weather!!!
Good post for SWF.
Beautiful golden sunset! The wilds of Idaho always has something to offer.
Lovely colors and a great silhouette.
Beautiful sunset, Bill. One thing you can say about Idaho is that you have gorgeous sunsets there!!!!!

Bill: A beautiful golden setting sun, so well captured my friend.

Hope all is OK after the surgery...my prayers are with you!
Awesome sunset. The colors are wonderful.
When we have skies like this our kids always say that their late grandfather is fooling around with God's painting buckets.
These again are amazing Bill.
