Mystery Bird

This morning I had several flocks of warblers show up after the rain last night.  Along with them was a blue bird I have been seeing once or twice each week since early July.  Here it is:

An expert birder of our area believes it is a cross between a Lazuli and an Indigo Bunting.

The fall migration is underway and my trees have been filled with birds after the rain on Friday and Saturday nights.

Just another great wildness day in Idaho.

What a lovely bird Bill. Someone posted I think it was on the meme Wild Bird Wednesday either last week, or the week before, and I am not sure if they had a name for it, or not. I am thinking they said Indigo Bunting. We have them here, but they do not look like the one shared, or yours...The one shared was exactly like the one you have shared... You can get to the meme from my side bar Bill. Happy Labor Day~

A little unusual I'd say, but then I'm pretty much an amateur in the birding catergory...:)

I wouldn't know how to identify it, but it's truly a beautiful bird.

I thought it must be part lazuli bunting when I first saw it, how cool is that?!
