Fires and Weed Wackers

With all the fires in Idaho, the air is hazy and at times you can only see a mile or two.  This was yesterday's sunrise as I was fishing Henrys Lake.

Today at Camas National Wildlife Refuge I saw these three "weed wackers" mowing down weeds.

The biggest one may have decided I was a large weed, but he missed because I was behind my truck when he came by.

Just a couple more days in the wilds of Idaho.

Oh my, you got to see the weed whackers that I sought to view last year this September...good for you, bad for me;') They are such splendid looking beasts too. Stay safe, these fires have destroyed so much and the heat, as well. Our August is like June and June was like August~

Ooh, you want to stay out of the way of those weed whackers! I've never seen that many moose in one place at one time, even in Yellowstone. Wonderful!

Wow - stunning sun and water shot - so peaceful and even those large weed whackers look casually at peace - chomp chomp!
