SkyWatch Friday - hunting eagle

Last week, before the two storms, while ice fishing Ririe Reservoir a Bald eagle flew over the hill looking for discarded trash fish for a meal.  I was sorry I did not have one to give it.

It was a mature large one that circled me several times.

See other great pictures of the sky at http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Gorgeous shot.
I was just reading about how eagles are dying of starvation on Vancouver Island due to a lock of salmon to eat. This one looks healthy.

Excellent shot. I like photographing Eagles. They let you get pretty close if they are up in a tree. I posted Eagles two days ago. MB

It's not that uncommon to see a bald eagle flying above downtown Portland, Oregon now. On the other hand, I've also seen peacocks.
