Storms, storms and more storms continue to roll in. Sometimes the sun gets a chance to peek through the cloud either in the morning or evening. Tuesday morning as I was leaving for school, we had a beautiful sunrise to celebrate another snow/rain storm moving in. This was taken from my back steps.
Half way to school I captured this scene.
A great way to start another wild day in Idaho.

Just stunning. Looks like a lone Christmas tree in the first one. I just had to click to enlarge to get the full affect.
I love when the sunrise lights up the bottom of clouds. Too many people wish for clear skies, but I like seeing cloudy skies. You never know when you'll see scenes like these!
Have a great weekend, Bill!
These are spectacular.

My goodness, isn't that gorgeously AWESOME!!! =)
Just like I said on my SWF post today, I love deep dark rich colors!
Fantastic photos, Bill! I also clicked for a larger image, the colors are just beautiful.
I know that you have had some of the most gorgeous, dramatic, awesome skies that I've ever seen -- and I don't mean just this week! You've been sharing incredible shots like this for weeks and I love it!! I'm envious, but love that you share them! Have a wonderful weekend, Bill, take lots more pictures!!

Beautiful photos and clouds. Look like paintings. Thanks for sharing.
Greetings from Roberto
Love the drama in your photos! We have had so much rain, driving rain, and even a tornado two days ago... practically unheard of.
Beautiful winter skies!! I heard today that orange generally signifies more dust in the air, refracting the light...not nearly as romantic as Angels singing, or Zeus yawning...both stunning shots!!
Wow, your stormy skies sure make breathtaking sunrises!
Such very beautiful light! Strong and dramatic in the first photo and softly romantic in the second!
Great sunrise photos.
Hi Bill, always wonderful catches and enjoy your wild Idaho so very much. Have a splendid and safe weekend. How are they Great Grays doing?
So moody and powerful and yet gently beautiful too. Thanks for sharing these Bill.
Amazing morning! Thanks for getting up early enough to leave time for picture taking.
