Busy week

What a week.  First we missed school for a day and a half because of electrical problems so we headed for the mountains.  We saw 19 moose.  This is one of four bulls chasing a cow around.

It was Red Ribbon Week (anti-drugs) that the student body officers were in charge of.  Here they are on "Put the Shades and Sweats on Drugs" day.

That was the same day I turned 64 and this is the cake the SBO made for me and we had a great time eating it during the class.  I am the guy on the cake catching a rainbow trout.

Then on Saturday we headed for the mountains and did not see a moose as they were all hiding in the trees with almost a foot of snow on the ground and on the trees.

Winter is here making driving a little wild in Idaho.  Have a great week.

I see what you mean! Happy birthday to you, too! Thanks for visiting my reflections site. You have marvellous photos of wildlife. We have little like that on our Muskoka shores. Min you, I don't hike in the woods much, as it is hunting season!!!

Beautiful bull moose!
That sure was a cute cake, especially with your likeness on it.
Be careful driving on those wild Idaho roads.

19 moose - good grief - don't be so greedy Bill and share them about a bit! I have yet to see one in my two and bit years in Alberta but they are apparently all around me- sneaky wee things!! How wonderful for you.

Happy Birthday too - great cake.

Wow Bill---How I hope that we'll get a tiny bit of your snow this winter... HOPE HOPE HOPE!!!!!! I am a southern gal who loves snow!!!!

Cute birthday cake --and Happy 64th. (I'm a few years ahead of you --at 67.) I'm sure your students love you very much. How great---to be a great role model for them.

You got a great picture of that moose.

I'm so jealous of the moose, none here except the one accidental...I love that cake! Happy belated 64th! We had a record cold Oct., now having record high Nov., which I am just loving! But, trying not to hold my breath, ha! It has been snowing a little in the higher elev. in the Blk Hills but not where I live. Great photos/post!
