Snowgoose invasion

I just got back from Camas National Wildlife Refuge and it has been invaded by Snow and Ross's geese.  Here they are dropping onto the Big Pond.

As the sun set, they moved out to the fields to feed.

A great way to end another wild day in Idaho.

Beautiful. We watched snowgeese "flyovers" at Bosque Del Apache in New Mexico ; just awe-inspiring. Had no idea I could have seen the same thing in Idaho. (much closer to our Oregon home at the time). But of course we enjoyed the trip!

We never see those numbers here. Amazing.

Enjoyed the previous post. I've never been able to get a decent photo of a flicker. Yours are great. The owl photos are outstanding too.

Where do they go when they leave your area? We don't get many north of you, here. Thanks for the pic, so thankful those great flocks exist.
